This can probably be closed since the new-scripts now run the validator on all found plans.

Either the planner scripts or the report scripts should run the validator. It'd probably be safer to integrate this in the planner scripts so that it cannot be forgotten. (This would require giving the planner scripts a larger overall timeout, while keeping the planner timeout at its current value.)
